WHAT TO EXPECT
CHURCH PROFILE
Gospel. Community. Mission. We want to be a gospel-centered community who live together on mission. Sunday morning attendance is between 300-400 people.
BEGINNING
From September through May, our Sunday typically begins at 9:00 am with classes for adults, teens, children, and a nursery for infants. Our corporate worship begins at 10:15 am year-round.
MUSIC
The music we sing at NWBC is a blend of old and new. We love the theologically rich hymns from past centuries and modern choruses and songs. The worship is intentionally congregational which emphasizes the fact that we are gathered together to sing with one voice.
SERVICE BODY
During the service we corporately sing, read Scripture, pray, and give our tithes and offerings. Once a month we partake of the Lord’s Supper, usually on the last Sunday of each month.
SERMONS
Preaching at NWBC is generally expositional, which means we seek to understand, explain, and apply the main point of a particular passage. The sermons are usually 30-45 minutes in length. Typically sermon series rotate between Old Testament and New Testament books. All of our preaching is centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news of God’s redemptive plan that is unfolded throughout all of Scripture.
CONCLUSION
After preaching there is usually a time of reflection. Services typically end around 11:15 am, church members frequently stay and fellowship with one another after.
