PLANS FOR SUNDAY
To help you stay engaged in the Word through worship, family liturgies will be sent out each Saturday night. These will include songs, Scripture reading, and a devotional from one of our elders. Use this time as a family to grow in the gospel. Parents, model what joyful worship and hope-filled dependence on God looks like in the middle of uncertain times. We will include some ideas for family worship as well. Use these tools as you see fit. If you would like to receive these updates, click here to sign-up.
For current Bible studies, you have the following options:
- You can meet online through Zoom (We’re working on setting up an account).
- You can meet in your home or in the church if your group has fewer than 10 people. For the church, we will post cleaning guidelines that we ask that each group follow.
- You can postpone your group.
We are also offering a Thursday night Bible study over Zoom for anyone in the church to join. This will take place each Thursday from 7:30 -8:30 pm. A Zoom link will be sent out each week. Aaron will be leading a study through 1 Peter. This will be a good time for us to connect and pray for each other.
Every Wednesday we will be sending out a curriculum packet for you to work on with your kids. These will be ready made lesson plans that will be accessible for parents. The lesson plans will continue the curriculum that we have been teaching on Wednesday nights. We will also be sending out an email with AWANA instructions so that students can finish their AWANA books this year.
We need your help on this. I was told that 75% of our church’s giving is done through physical checks and cash that are placed in offering plates each Sunday. If you are one who normally gives by check or cash, please consider giving through our online giving platform. You can access it through the church website. You can also drop off your gift in the church mailbox (which is locked) or mail gifts in to the office.
If you or anyone else you know has any physical or spiritual needs during this difficult time, please let us know how we can help by reaching out to an elder/deacon or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
